7. Ventanas Atlanta

The history of Ventanas Atlanta begins back in 2008, this rooftop event space was designed to offer guests an awe-inspiring bird’s-eye view of the Atlanta skyline. The word “Ventanas” itself means “windows” in Spanish, and this venue lives up to its name, providing guests with extensive floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the city’s vibrant urban landscape.

With a fantastic all-out of 9,547 square feet, Ventanas has a gorgeous rooftop space, making a feeling that is downright moving. It is also a simple short distance from the CNN Center, Georgia World Congress Community and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

8. Serenbe Inn

In 1991, Steve and Marie Nygren bought a memorable ranch during a family outing, prompting the introduction of The Motel and Farmhouse at Serenbe. Their process started with the remodel of a 1940s farmworker’s bungalow into Mimosa Cabin and the change of a noteworthy horse shelter into The Visitor House. By 1994, end of the week excursions transformed into a full-time migration to “The Homestead.” Redesigns incorporated the reclamation of the primary 1905 noteworthy farmhouse and nurseries planned by Ryan Gainey. In 2006, The Farmhouse Café opened, spearheading ranch-to-table dining. The Hotel multiplied in size in 2015, adding rooms and conveniences. In 2023, a subsequent pool and hot tub for grown-ups are set to open, which will enhance the Serenbe experience.

9. Ashton Gardens Atlanta

10. St Ives Country Club

St. Ives Country Club is located in Johns Creek and features a stunning 45,000-square-foot stone-encased clubhouse perched atop one of North Fulton County’s highest points. When you step inside, it’s like stepping into an 18th-century English country manor. You’ve got full-height mahogany paneling, dazzling crystal chandeliers, exquisite woven carpets from the Far East, and luxurious silk wall coverings – it’s absolutely breathtaking.

11. Lake Lanier Island Resort

15. The Whitlock Inn

In the 1890s, the renowned M.G. Whitlock House, a 150-room resort in Marietta, unfortunately succumbed to a fire, leaving behind a rich legacy. This splendid establishment had once been a sought-after destination for travelers seeking respite from the scorching coastal towns as they ventured into the cooler Georgia foothills. Spanning nearly the entire Whitlock Road block, it had stood as a symbol of grandeur.

Fast forward to 1900, a portion of this historic property found a new purpose. Herbert C. Dobbs and his wife Annie seized the opportunity and constructed a magnificent Victorian mansion for their family of eight. Little did they know that this mansion would go on to become the beloved Whitlock Inn, a place that has served various roles over the years.

Throughout its remarkable 120-year history, the Whitlock Inn has been a family retreat, a haven for seniors, a cozy bed and breakfast, and today, a celebrated award-winning event venue. 16. The Standard Club Johns Creek

The Standard Club’s history is a story of development inside the constantly changing scene of Atlanta. It started in 1867 as the Concordia Affiliation, filling in as a social center point for Jews of German descent in Midtown Atlanta. Over the years, it changed into the Standard Club, tracking down homes in different areas, including the notable Concordia Lobby and the core of the Jewish people group in the Washington-Rawson area. 

As the city kept on developing, the club moved to Midtown Atlanta in the last part of the 1920s, which was crucial in the club’s overall history.
